About
Healing Journey
My life purpose over the past decade or more has been to support and help people heal themselves, by understanding and connecting with a higher consciousness as an intuitive, spiritual counselor, healer and teacher.
If you found my website, chances are you’re probably already on your journey of awakening. Maybe you’re hungry to learn and grow into the person you know, deep down, you’re meant to be. Maybe you feel like you're going around in circles – that life keeps throwing you curve balls and you keep making the same mistakes. Perhaps you feel unsettled by a deep emptiness - that there should be more to life than what you’re experiencing. You may be searching for belonging. Or answers. Or feel stuck in the ingrained unconscious patterns of your parents and their parents, or their parents’ parents. It could be that you're struggling to process a trauma or illness. Maybe you find yourself waking up to a higher consciousness and struggling to anchor this within your life - you want to give expression to, and deepen, your inner connection and purpose, but you don’t quite know how.
Would you believe me if I told you, you already have the wisdom within to heal yourself?
I can help you connect to your inner being so that you can learn to master, heal and expand yourself. I work to heal body, mind and soul. I do this in many ways: by connecting to your guides, ancestors and those who have passed, and by balancing and aligning your chakras through reiki healing, sound and meditation. I bring about deep inner healing and transformation through ceremonies, soul retrieval, drum journeys and shadow work to heal your inner child and bring back the parts of yourself that feel fragmented and lost.
Of course, once we begin to heal ourselves, we begin to heal the world and all the beings in it. That’s why I offer several courses and workshops to train you in ancient healing disciplines, as well as workshops on deepening our connection and working with our higher purpose.
My Story
My own healing journey
I’m a holistic healer, intuitive counselor, medium and spiritual teacher. I see myself as an eternal student of the Shamanic traditions and wisdom teachings.
I’ve initiated into and walked a Shamanic path for over a decade within the Inca and Q’ero tradition, travelling to Peru, Machu Pichu and the Amazon, as well receiving teachings and initiations here in South Africa from an Inca Shaman. In Hawaii, I received teachings of the 4th level and initiations from Elizabeth Jenkins and the Q’ero.
I’ve taken part in Native American fire dances and teachings, having sat in ceremony, received teachings and been honored as a sacred pipe carrier. In 2017 found myself answering a strong calling within the African tradition and initiated as a Sangoma into the lineage of Thakoza in 2019. Deepening our connection and helping heal and understand our past and ancestral wounds is so important if we are to truly heal our world and ourselves. If we don’t know where we’ve come from and the wounds and gifts we’re carrying, how can we know where we’re going?
I consult and work online offering one on one sessions, courses and workshops. I also travel between KZN, Cape Town, Johannesburg and the U.K. offering personalized sessions, workshops and ceremonies.
There’s no question that this is what I was born to do – to heal and to teach ancient healing methods – although it took a lot of soul-searching and self-healing for me to get to this place.
As far back as I can remember, I've been able to clearly see and hear spirit guides and those who have passed. As a child and teenager, having this access to the spirit world scared me terribly. My perceptive gift grew increasingly over the years. Just as many others have had their purpose revealed through life’s challenges and struggles, my healing and awakening journey began and expanded in my late 20s early 30s.
In my childhood, my grandmother had a huge influence on me. She was British and came to stay for months at a time, before coming to live in South Africa in her later years. She would speak openly about her dreams and their meanings, and about mystics and psychics and alternative healers. I later realised how open my family, especially my parents, were to alternative healing and beliefs. Because it was spoken about so naturally within my home, I only discovered much later on that this was not common practice in other families.
Healing myself to help others heal
In my late 20s my interest in the angelic realms, the angels, archangels and guides opened up tremendously. My connection and newfound trust in the spirit world grew stronger. I began to actively work with my gift and my journey began in earnest.
Over the next six years I focused on my own healing, processing and integrating everything I was discovering. I worked with Reiki and became a Reiki Master, doing shadow work and healing the inner child. I began to develop my gift for channeling.
In around 2006 my interest in Shamanism started to open up and I found my way in 2010 into one of the world's oldest sacred traditions: Andean Shamanism, where i started a seven-year initiation process and had a real sense that I'd not only found my "tribe" but that my world and how I felt on a deeper soul level started to make more sense to me.. At last I had a visceral sense of belonging. I traveled to the Amazon and Peru, going to the Sacred Valley and ancient sites to receive initiations. My life path open up and I stepped into working as a healer, teacher and mentor.
I later felt called to Hawaii where I received the final initiation "the 4th level" initiation from Elizabeth Jenkins and the Q’ero in preparation for “the time to come,”. Back home, I began sharing the teachings that I had received.
Not long after my return from Hawaii, I found myself sitting in circle with inspiring teachers, story tellers and wisdom keepers of Native American traditions and African traditions. Learning, initiating, teaching and holding space.
In 2019 i answered a long time calling in the African tradition and moved through the initiations within the lineage of Thokoza. Answering the calling of my ancestors.
